The House
My parents fell in love with this place and decided to build the family home which is located in Mezzegra, in Tremezzina.
My father entrusted the construction to local artisans and the material used was stone precisely because it had to last over time and be preserved for future generations.
Agricultural activity began thanks to my mother Claudia.
Over time, I became passionate about the farm project and, thus, I decided to give new life to the family home: I opened my own farm, Tana del Gri di Carolina Vismara.
The farm is spread over an area of 2 hectares divided between Mezzegra and Ossuccio, both part of the Tremezzina area and overlooking the western shores of Lake Como and includes two ancient olive groves that host 50 beehives, thus making beekeeping the main activity.
Just as it was for our family, I would like ‘Tana del Gri’ to become a happy oasis. From summer 2022 I will be happy to welcome you for an unforgettable stay: I will open the doors of my house to welcome you to my farmhouse.
Furthermore, I would like the house to become a creative laboratory that develops, in a sustainable way, the conjunction between the good (agricultural production) and the beauty inspired by Lake Como.
Following the minibag project I would like to add a beauty line for women made with products based on honey and laurel for skin and body care.
